Learn the basics of Ikebana (The Japanese art of Flower arrangement) in this workshop in collaboration with Pears On Pottery. This class is a fun way to learn how to make lovely and minimal flower arrangements for your home. 

Thursday 11th August

6pm-10pm

In this class you will learn: 

• The basic principles of ikebana
• Complete a basic Moribana arrangement (low vase) with a kenzan OR complete a basic Nageire arrangement (tall vase) without a kenzan
• Paint a vase to use for your future ikebana arrangements

All materials and tools for the flower arranging will be provided during the class. Just bring a vase or bowl from home to practise with, or practise with one of the gorgeous vases available at Pears On Pottery, that you can then paint to take home. 

You may take your flowers and foliage material home with you.

This is a BYO event, so don’t forget your drinks and nibbles to make it a night!
