Our Mount Hawthorn studio is the perfect place to host your next event!
Kids parties, adult celebrations, or team building events, pottery painting is ideal for all ages and our studio is available for private hire.

We can also pre-arrange specific pieces for themed parties, mugs for a workplace team building events, etc.
The studio can accommodate up to 34 people.
Kids Parties
Creative and exciting pottery painting parties to celebrate birthdays and special children’s milestones!
We have a range of fun and functional pottery shapes to appeal to all children.
The paints used are all non-toxic, easily wash out of clothes and your pieces will be food safe when glazed and fired.
Please note that parties are the responsibility of the hosting parent, this includes (but not limited to) ensuring appropriate supervision and that items chosen by the painters keep within your budget.
With non-exclusive parties (booked during normal business hours), a separate table for food & drinks is not included.
Adult Celebrations
Whether it’s a birthday, a baby shower, hens, Pears is the perfect place to celebrate!
There is space in our studio to comfortably seat 34 adult painters and have an additional station set up for your food and drinks. We are BYO for both food and drink, as well as decorations. We also have wine, champagne, and hi ball glasses, as well as a small bar fridge for a cake, etc. Please note that we do not have cutlery or crockery.
Also, who needs an excuse to get the gang together anyway?! Why not gather a group of friends to catch up, relax, explore and get creative!
Team Building
Connect with staff and team members while creating unique ceramic pieces.
The studio environment allows your team to unwind, unplug and reconnect. Encouraging your team’s individual creative expression will help to improve communication and lower stress levels, with the intent of increasing productivity and fostering innovation. The aim is to be a unifying experience for your team, with a special creation to take home after firing.
Pottery painting is enjoyable for everyone, regardless of skill level, and can be a great family-friendly solution for the office holiday party or as an alternative to the standard happy hour.
I had my 21st birthday party at Pears on Pottery and it was a hit! Not only did the guests have a splendid time choosing and painting their pottery; but it was a breeze to arrange! Jayne was extremely organised and helpful. We were able to bring our own food, drinks, cake and decorations to the venue which made planning the party stress-free and could be exactly how I wanted it. I booked Pears On Pottery for a hens night. Jayne went above and beyond to accommodate everything. Communication was excellent, especially when we had to reschedule due to covid! The studio is open every day during school holidays from 9:30am to 3:30pm – excluding Dec/Jan school holidays when we remain closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We are closed Good Friday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Day and sometimes we take a break over Christmas and New Year so please enquire with us ahead of time.
